Bacon & Arugula Breakfast Sandwich* review by Zoe
It was really good! The eggs were cooked how I asked and there was more than enough of them. The cheese was perfect and plentiful as was the arugula. The bacon was just ok and there wasn't much on there. The hot sauce the waitress brought me was delicous.

The Pork Belly Benedict was an absolute masterclass in brunch. 🤌🏽 From the perfectly poached egg to the rich, savory pork belly and beautifully seasoned collard greens—every component worked together perfectly. And the ultimate compliment? Not a single grain of salt or a dash of pepper was needed. The seasoning, balance, and flavors were already there. Every bite was intentional, flavorful, and downright delicious. This is the kind of brunch dish that makes you pause between bites just to appreciate what's happening. 👏🏽🍳🔥
ROOTS Hot Chicken review by Jsbee527
We've only been to Roots 2 times now. We've been exploring the menu. I'll know better about the Hot Chicken sandwich. It was perfectly seasoned and fried on a delicious toasted brioche bun. The sweet potato fries were the perfect accompaniment to the spice and heat of the chicken. Next time I'll ask for the sauce on the side. There was a lot of it on the sammie and plate. Other than that, it was a really delicious plate! Our server Ryann was lovely too!

We love coming to Roots! There's something for the whole family. My daughters love the French Toast Bites and Breakfast potatoes. I always have a delicious vegan option and my husband loves the Roots Chicken Sandwich. Delicious food and friendly staff!

The Cinnamon French Toast bites were ridiculously delicious. Crispy, sweet and soft inside. I became a member of the Roots fan club for those alone. The rest of our meal was as fresh and delicious and so I would recommend literally anything on the menu. Another reason why we keep coming back is the cozy and adorable decor. It feels so comfortable and we feel spoiled by the excellent service. If I lived in West Chester and could walk there, it would be dangerously, I'd never cook at home again.

On our first time to Roots, I had to try your signature Pork Belly Benedict and hub had your ham/cheese benedict croissant. First off, thanks to the kitchen for getting my eggs well done ( yes, I'm that person who doesn't like runny eggs). The pork belly was delicious. Smoky, tender and well seasoned. The collards were the perfect juxtaposition to the pork. AND the home fries! The best crispy, craggy home fries that could be a stand alone small plate- they're that good! We're looking forward to exploring more of the menu...till next time. TY

The Cherry Blossom Chai Latte is absolutely amazing! 🌸☕️ The flavor is incredible, with just the right amount of spice warm, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Easily the best chai in town! Highly recommend giving it a try!
Burger Salad review by Matt
I was up here on business and had this salad for lunch, and I regret to inform you that my life has been permanently divided into two eras: Before This Salad and After This Salad. The client I was here for described it as "a great salad". His words fail him, or perhaps his taste buds. Toyota makes a great car, but you look twice at a Ferrari. This is the Ferrari or Bentley of salads. It is entirely possible that I need to relocate just to be closer to this incredible experience. To call it the best salad I've ever had in my life almost undersells it, because that implies I have simply ranked a group of salads and this one happened to come out on top. No. This salad has exposed the sheer FRAUDULENCE of every other salad I've ever eaten. There should be some kind of certification process in place globally to require restaurants to make a salad to this level of quality before they are able to call it a salad legally. I am now confident that if I dedicated the rest of my life to eating a salad from every salad establishment on Earth, I would still spend the entire time yearning for the cool, crisp, refreshing embrace of this salad. I am seriously considering selling everything I own and moving here. My furniture? Gone. My possessions? Liquidated. My current residence? Irrelevant. I require proximity to this salad, and nothing more. Would I eventually tire of it? No. Absolutely not. This is not a salad you get tired of. This is the salad equivalent of finding your soulmate. The salad that makes you look at all previous salads and quietly whisper, "I'm sorry, I thought you were the one...but there is another now." I would rate it with a number, but I would need to invent a new kind of math to come close to the number required to illustrate how far superior this salad is compared to other "salads". But yea, a great salad for sure.
